We are a much respected trucking and Hot Shot company operating in the Baken oil field. Responsibilities

The Truck Driver may be responsible for but not limited to:

Check truck and trailer, maintain normal operating levels, complet pre-trip and post trip inspections.

Secure tools and equipment and the shipment that is being moved by using chain and binder and straps.

Minor hands on truck and trailer and equipment repairs

Operate a company-provided vehicle to perform job duties in a safe manner

Adhere to all Safety, Environmental, and company policies and procedures outlined in the Six Gun Hot Shop LLC Management System

Qualifications

Basic/Required:
Legally authorized to work in the United States

High school diploma/GED

Valid driver’s license Class A with air brakes. Or for one ton pickups a commercial driver’s license.

Willingness and ability to perform/comply with following:
To work in temperature extremes or adverse weather conditions

To work in several different geographic locations each day

To work both in and out of a company-owned vehicle

To wear appropriate special safety equipment

To climb heights up to 6 feet to secure shippment”load”.

To walk, bend, stoop and lift 100lbs from time to time.

To use hand tools to make minor repairs.

Be in good physical condition to be able to perform the duties outline without the need of special accommodations. Be able to put on snow chains on tires if needed.

To work weekends and be on call

Preferred:
2+ years direct experience driving a class 8 vehicle and understand equipment and terminology. Or for one ton pickups 2+ years with a commercial driver’s license operating a flatbed goose neck trailer

Work independently with minimum supervision

Satisfactory safety record and knowledge of safety rules and practices

Ability to utilize GPS and applicable dispatch programs

Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and communicate to others in an understandable fashion

Ability to prepare accurate and legible reports and daily logs.

Ability to react to visual and aural signals, alarms, and instructions

In order to be considered for this position you must complete the entire application process, which includes answering all questions that we provide to you are able pass a DOT drug screen. Complete OHSA and Marathon and Hess training classes at our expense.

Wages: Class A driver’s start $20.00 per hour. One ton pickup driver $18.00. We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield Health and Dental after 60 days.

We also have housing available for $400.00 per month.
